scenic Ards Peninsula in Co Down at the renowned
Karl Harron GlasStudio offering professional instruction
to individuals and groups (4 students max.) to suit
beginners, intermediate and advanced levels in the
following disciplines:
1-Day: Art of Tiffany Glass: Introduction
Take the first magical steps of copper-foiling by making a panel (A4 size)
and 2 suncatchers using Cathedral and Opalescent glass.
Workshop fee: £145.00 stg
2-Day: Art of Tiffany Glass: Intermediate
You will design and construct a large decorative panel (approx.18"x18")
to
specifically suit your own artistic requirements using American and English
Art
Glass.
Workshop fee: £245.00 stg
3-Day: Art of Tiffany Glass: Advanced
Learn traditional painting and staining techniques which will enable you to
incorporate a hand painted and amber stained image onto French St Gobain
mouthblown, antique glass.
Workshop fee: £355.00 stg
4-Day Masterclass: Explore new Warm Glass Horizons
Experiment with kiln-formed glass to create a limited edition of beautiful
fused bowls
from iridised and dichroic Bullseye compatible COE 90 glass.
Workshop fee: £455 stg.
Non-residential workshop fees include insurance,
all materials, use of
hand tools and kilns. Also light refreshments each
day.
Workshops are held throughout the year by arrangement
and run from 10.00am to 4.30pm each day with lunch
from 1.00pm to 2.00pm. There is ample off-road
parking at the studio.
To Enrol: Please send full fee (cheques payable
to Karl Harron Glass Studio),
stating workshop title and preferred date/s. A receipt
will be provided by
return.
If you find you must cancel for any reason before
the workshop commences I will refund the fee in full
if I am notified not less than 10 days prior to commencement.
Please bring a notebook and pen, apron and closed
shoes, an open mind and
buckets of enthusiasm.
